What He Said To The Rose: A King Was Placed To Show Disgrace

What He Said To The Rose: A King Was Placed To Show Disgrace

Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life.  When Jesus came he brought all of God’s goodness with Him.  He infused the process once again with His goodness.  He died on the cross and paid the price for our sins.  But 3 days later He came out of that grave and made a way for me to reinsert myself into His process and in Him I can have life once more.  And I can be God’s expression of goodness on this earth.

So what do we do when we have been cheated, and beaten?  What do we do when we are surrounded by despair, when we see others crying out for our help, when faced with human suffering, or when we find bondage?

Acts 16:25

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sung praises unto God;

I’ll tell you what we do, we express his goodness, we sing of His mercies, we contribute to the propagation of His grace.  We bring life to a dying world.  We return to what we were originally created to be.  Then we step back and watch as God begins to shake the foundations holding those around us in bondage.

We watch as He creates again.

Freedom from bondage

Deliverance from despair

Righteousness from rags

Wealth from poverty

Healing from pain

Musical artist Jeremy Camp penned it this way

The king was placed to show disgrace, but only beauty flows from this place.
